Spur seeks a hardworking, punctual, professional Speech Pathologist for Selma City Schools. The primary duty of this position is to help people communicate appropriately. Other responsibilities include assessing patients, diagnosing disorders that can impact swallowing and speaking, and providing treatment for their patients. Duties expected of this position are:
- Treating and preventing speech, and language disorders
- Creating treatment and therapy plans to suit the individualized needs of patients.
- Performing screenings to detect voice or speech disorders
- Friendly and approachable attitude
- Prior related experience working with children
- Punctual and professional
- Maintains a professional appearance.
- Able to lift heavy objects to 50 lbs. frequently
Qualifications
- Must obtain a State of Alabama Background Check ($48.00)
- Required Online Training
Compensation
- This position pays $85.00 per day
- Must be available to work 7 am - 3:30 pm Monday - Friday when school is in session. (Hours vary per location)
